The last four digits of the DOT serial numbers indicate the production period (week/year). Affected tyres will be replaced free of charge.

The voluntary recall program is being initiated to avoid any potential risk to vehicle drivers and other road-users.

Why are we having these tyres replaced?

Due to a non-conforming production process, the impacted tyres may experience sudden air loss or belt edge separation which could lead to partial or full tread loss.  Continental has not received any reports of accidents or injuries resulting from this issue.

What do I have to do if I have affected tyres?

Affected tyres will be replaced at no charge. We ask you to contact the Voluntary Recall Hotline for any further questions: 1800 316 372 (AEDT 7.30am - 6.00pm).

Safety Warning:

We strongly recommend that you check if your tyre is affected and if so ensure that the tyre is exchanged as soon as possible. Only tyres in the specified sizes, featuring the DOT Serial, Date Code and Mould Number outlined above are affected.
